Search views can easily be shared with different user types to allow you to predefine different ways of viewing and working with data in the system.

Sharing View Groups
Note: You can only share groups you have created
To share a view group:
- Click on the cog icon next to the "Groups and Views" header on the left-hand side of the search page
- Find the view group you would like to share in the list and click on the share icon on its row (hovering over the icon will show any user types with whom the group is currently shared)
- In the menu that appears, select the user types you'd like to share the group with. Click "Save" to commit your changes
- If you want to modify the user types the group is shared with at a later date, you can follow these steps again and simply add/remove user types from the list
- The group and its views will be accessible by the user type
Sharing Individual Views
Note: You can only share views you have created
To share a view:
- Navigate to the view you would like to share in the search views page
- Click on the share icon on the top right-hand side of the page
- In the menu that appears, select the user type(s) you would like to share the view with. Click "Save" to commit your changes
- If you want to modify the user types the view is shared with at a later date, you can follow these steps again and simply add/remove user types from the list
Add Shared Views To Groups
To access shared views, they will need to be assigned to a group. To do this:
- Log in to the system as a user of the type with which the view has been shared and click on the cog icon next to the "Groups and Views" header on the left-hand side of the search page
- If no group exists, click on the "Create New Group" button to make one
- Give the new group a name and click "Save" to commit your changes
- Click on the group you would like to add the view to to bring up the views manager
- Drag the view(s) from the "Available views" column to the "Views in this group" column and click "Save" to update the group
